FARMERS BRANCH, TX-- The Dallas Christian College women's basketball team held off a furious comeback attempt from Kansas CHristian College by a score of 91-83 behind
DeMia Jackson's 30 point performance.
The Crusaders led from start to finish, although the Falcons went on runs challenging the lead, DCC stayed the course and grasped a 91-83 victory to move to 4-2on the season.
The Crusaders shot 35-70 (50%) from the field, 7-18 (39%) from the three-point line, and 14-26 (53%) from the free-throw line. The Crusaders had 23 bench points, 42 points in the paint, 21 points off turnovers, and 23 bench points.Â
DeMia Jackson had a stellar performance with 30 points, 11 rebounds, and 6 steals.
Myah Coleman had a near double-double with 16 points and 8 rebounds.
Kera Martinez had 13 points, 3 assists, and 4 rebounds.
Mattie Parham had 11 points on 5-7 shooting from the field.
The Crusaders will be back in action on Friday, Nov. 28 against UT Tyler in an Exhibition game.
