FARMERS BRANCH, TX-- The Dallas Christian College women's volleyball team defeated Southwestern Adventist University 3-1 (25-19, 25-10, 27-25, 27-25) on Wednesday night in the final home game of the season. Before the game staff members were honored with a card from players.
After falling in the first set, DCC rallied to win the last 3 sets in a row. As a team DCC had 69 points, 55 kills, 12 Aces, 2 blocks, 51 assists, and 96 digs.Â
Brooklyn Ramey-Halkyard had 20 kills,
Jessalyn Gutierrez had 11 kills, and
Anaiyah Peavler had 10 kills.
Jaycie Stanley had 4 Aces,
Alyssa Carreras had 3 Aces, and
Zoelley Herrera had 2 Aces.
Zoelley Herrera had 22 assists,
Jaycie Stanley had 19 assists, and
Alyssa Carreras had 3 assists.
Lanie Wink had 28 digs,
Jaycie Stanley had 18 digs, and
Alyssa Carreras had 17 digs. The Crusaders will be back in action for the Regional tournament at ABU on Nov.6-7.
