FARMERS BRANCH, TX-- The Dallas Christian College Women's Volleyball team picked up a huge 3-1 (26-24, 25-21, 25-21, 25-21) victory at home with a vibrant crowd. The Lady Crusaders stayed the course after dropping the first set, won the next 3 sets to secure a huge conference victory.

As a team the Lady Crusaders had 63 points, 46 kills, 15 Aces, 2 blocks, 44 assists, and 67 digs. Brooklyn Ramey-Halkyard led the team with 17 kills, Jessalyn Gutierrez had 10 kills, and Anaiyah Peavler had 7 kills. Alyssa Carreras had 4 Aces, Jessalyn Gutierrez had 3 Aces, and Zoelley Herrera had 2 Aces.

Brooklyn Ramey-Halkyard had 2 blocks. Jaycie Stanley had 19 assists, Zoelley Herrera had 18 assists, and Emma Martinez had 3 assists. Emma Martinez had 18 digs, Zoelley Herrera had 13 digs, and Alyssa Carreras had 11 digs.

The Crusaders will look to continue its momentum after winning 2 of its last 3 games on Wednesday at Huston Tillotson University at 6 PM.
