FARMERS BRANCH, TX-- The Dallas Christian College men's basketball team used a balanced offensive attack with four players scoring double digit points in a 90-77 victory at home on Tuesday night against Ecclesia College.
The Crusaders jumped out to a five point lead at halftime, and put the game away in the second half, scoring 53 points to propel the Crusaders to a 90-77 victory.Â
DCC shot 37-74 (50%) from the field, 10-26 (38%) from the three-point line, and 6-10 (60%) from the free-throw line. DCC had 12 second chance points, 48 points in the paint, 12 second chance points, 20 points off turnovers, and 46 bench points.
Ny'gel Boozer had a team high 18 points on 7-11 shooting from the field and 4-6 from the three-point line.
Terius Maxie had a productive night off the bench with a season high 16 points and 5 rebounds.
Ronald Ducros anchored the paint with 12 points and 14 rebounds to notch a double-double.
Jacobee Giles also had a productive night off the bench with 10 points and a fast-break dunk that energized the crowd. DCC will be back in action tonight at 5:30 p.m. against Texas A&M Texarkana looking to extend its win streak to three games.
