Box Score MOORE, OKLAHOMA-- The Dallas Christian College Volleyball team (0-3) suffered a loss to conference foe Randall University on Saturday afternoon in 4 sets (3-1). The Lady Crusaders fought hard but were not able to overcome the surges from the Saints.
Randall took the first two sets by scores of 25-11, and 25-19. The Lady Crusaders took set 3 by a score of 25-22 and cut the deficit to 2-1 heading into the fourth set. Randall came out victorious with a 25-14 win in the fourth set to close out the match.
Bailey Whitten led the Lady Crusaders with 15 kills,
Brooklyn Ramey-Halkyard had 8 kills, and
Sarah Floyd had 5 kills.
Bailey Whitten had 4 Aces,
Alyssa Carreras had 1 Ace, and
Zoelley Herrera had 1 Ace.
Zoelley Herrera had a team-high 24 assists, and
Alyssa Carreras had a team-high 14 digs. As a team DCC had 42 points, 32 kills, 8 Aces, 2 blocks, 29 assists, and 33 digs. The Lady Crusaders will be back in action on Friday afternoon with a tri-match at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m at Mountain View College.
