DALLAS, TX-- The Dallas Christian College Baseball team opened up the 2024 Central Regional Tournament with a dominant 10-1 win over Kansas Christian College on Monday night at Meador Park in Missouri.
The Crusaders were led by a dominant performance on the mound by a complete game by
Derek Lewis. Lewis went 7 innings, allowing 2 hits, 1 run, and 6 strikeouts. Lewis dominated with only 75 pitches in 7 innings.
Cooper Ness had a dominant performance at the plate with a three run home-run. Ness had 3 RBI's on the day.
Stefon Reyes had another stellar performance at the plate, going 2 for 2 with 4 RBI's.
Jaidon Erivez went 1 for 4 with 1 RBI.
The Crusaders pulled off an upset of the #4 seed Kansas Christian College. The Crusaders will face-off against 1 seed Mission University at 4:30 today.
