Victoria, Texas– Josh Freeman and Tobin Jones each had home runs for the Crusaders (4-12) as the Dallas Christian College baseball team was tied with the University of Houston-Victoria Jaguars (13-6) going into the bottom of the third inning. Josh Freeman homered in the second inning and Rhiekken Bostick added a 2 run homer in the third inning, but the offense was unable to add more runs in the 5-3 loss. 

The Crusaders offensive struggles continued into the second game of the doubleheader as the Crusaders were shut out 9-0.

The Crusaders travel to Arlington, Texas next Friday and Saturday, March 8 and 9 to play Arlington Baptist University (6-10) in a pair of doubleheaders with hopes to pick up crucial road wins.
