DALLAS, TX-- The Dallas Christian College women's softball team (1-1) split a DH on opening day with Sterling College. Sterling College won the first game 7-0 and the Lady Crusaders took the second game 8-4.

Game 1: Sterling College took game 1 with a run in the first inning, two runs in the third inning, 3 runs in the fourth inning, and a run in the 5th inning. The Lady Crusaders recorded 3 hits with a single by Georgina Cariilo, a single by Mattee Frye, and a double by Felicitas Figueroa. The Crusaders were not able to overcome its offensive struggles and dropped game 1 7-0.

Game 2: The Lady Crusaders were led by Pitcher Aubrey Graham. Graham pitched 6 innings, allowing 4 runs, striking out three batters in 26 batters faced. Hanna Roye went 2 for 3 with 2 runs scored and 1 RBI. Jayla Stephens went 2 for 3 with 2 RBI's. The Lady Crusaders will be on the road at SAGU on Feb.6.
