PENSACOLA FL-- The Dallas Christian College women's Basketball team (2-1) defeated Southeastern Baptist College 62-60 in a close game on Saturday afternoon to finish the Pensacola Invitational with 2 wins in 3 games.
The Lady Crusaders shot 24-66 (36%) from the field, 7-27 (25%) from the three-point line, and 7-16 (43%) from the free-throw line. DCC had 9 second chance points, 28 points in the paint, 9 fast break points, 30 points off turnovers, and 22 bench points.Â
The Lady Crusaders had a balanced offensive attack with 4 players scoring double digit points.
Kera Martinez had 16 points on 5-11 shooting from the field, and 3-6 shooting from the three-point line.
Myah Coleman had 12 points and 3 rebounds on 6-11 shooting from the field.
Chloe Buckner had 12 points and 6 rebounds on 6-8 shooting from the field.
Alysha Garcia had 11 points on 3-7 shooting from the field, and 2-2 from the free-throw line.
The Lady Crusaders will look to extend its win streak to 3 games on Tuesday at Texas College.
