PENSACOLA, FLORIDA-- The Dallas Christian College Women's Basketball Team (0-1) opened up the season on the road with a 75-55 loss against the Pensacola Christian College women's basketball team.

The Lady Crusaders hung tough in the first half but were not able to hold on as the Lady Eagles ousted DCC with a 75-55 victory.

DCC shot 18-53 from the field (34%), 5-20 (25%) from the three-point line, and 14-26 (53%) from the free-throw line. DCC had 8 second chance points, 24 points in the paint, 13 points off turnovers, and 14 bench points.

Kera Martinez had 15 points, 3 assists, and 3 rebounds on 6-10 shooting from the field. Myah Coleman notched a double-double with 14 points and 15 rebounds. The Lady Crusaders will be back in action tomorrow afternoon at 2 p.m. against Toccoa Falls.
