DALLAS, TX-- The Dallas Christian College men's basketball team held on to a 95-86 victory on Saturday afternoon against Randall University in a regional matchup. DCC is in second place in the Southwest Region heading into the last three games before the regional tournament.
DCC shot 33-77 (42%) from the field, 11-27 (40%) from the three-point linem and 18-24 (75%) from the free-throw line. DCC scored 20 points off turnovers, 14 second chance points, and 25 bench points.Â
The Crusaders built a 10 point lead at half-time, but the Saints battled until the end falling 95-86.
Joseph Allen scored 23 points and had 8 rebounds and 4 assists.
Jairus Allen had 17 points and 8 rebounds.
Tyjuan Battles scored 15 points on 5-11 shooting from the field.
Caleb Willis scored 16 points off the bench on 5-9 shooting from the field and 6-6 from the free-throw line. The Crusaders will look to continue its stellar play in conference against Southwestern Adventist University on Thursday at 7 p.m.Â
