HAWKINS TX-- The Dallas Christian College men's soccer team suffered a 5-1 loss on the road against Jarvis Christian College on Saturday afternoon.
The Crusaders gave up a goal in the fifth minute of the match as the Bulldogs scored on an assist by Kyang Dieu. DCC tightened up for the rest of the half as it was 1-0 after 45 minutes of play. JCC tacked on two more goals in the first 25 minutes of the second half to claim a 3-0 lead.
Jeremy Callejias scored the first goal of the season for the Crusaders in the 81st minute.Â
The Bulldogs responded with two goals to finish the game with a 5-1 lead. Dallas Christian College attempted 12 shots, and JCC attempted 22 shots.
Brandon Flores recorded 9 saves and DCC took 5 corner kicks.
DCC will travel to Dallas on Monday, Sep. 12 to face Paul Quinn College.
