SHREVEPORT, LA.-- The Dallas Christian College men's soccer team (0-2) suffered a 5-0 loss to Centenary College (1-0) on Thursday evening.

The first 20 minutes of play were even as neither team could find the back of the net. In the 21st minute Centenary College grasped the lead with a goal by Jason Petras. DCC continued to battle and play stout defense as another 20 minutes passed and the score was still 1-0. In the 40th minute Centenary College found the back of the net again with a goal by Aaron Myers.

One minute later, Centenary College continued its positive momentum with another goal to give them a commanding 3-0 lead heading into the half-time break. In the second half Centenary College scored two more goals to grasp a 5-0 victory.

The Crusaders battled hard throughout the game with 8 saves and two shots on goal. DCC will scrimmage Cedar Valley College on Friday, Sep. 2 at 11 a.m.
