Zyian Bender would add the team's other RBI and her first of her career. Williamson and
Mikenzie Miller counted as the team's other runs, with both coming in the last inning.

GAME 2 RECAP: Oklahoma Wesleyan (8), Dallas Christian (0) (F/6)

Summer Hasfurter started and went 4.1 innings. She threw 66 pitches and went as long as she could keeping DCC right there until a big fifth inning. Before her final line, the Leander, Texas, native had allowed three hits and two runs through four innings. Two of those knocks were extra base hits and led to a run for the opposition. Bailey Zornes homered in the second inning and Payton Langley tripled in the fourth. Hasfurter was able to keep the score a one-run game in the third inning by working around a leadoff error. The runner would be left on third after the same player that made the error would atone for it with a nice catch.
The Crusaders offense was only able to generate three hits. Williamson doubled for the second time on the day in the second inning. Bender also had her second hit in the doubleheader, while Aniyah Dixon registered her first collegiate hit in the sixth.
DCC had its home opener with Cisco College cancelled due to poor weather this weekend. The teams are slated to play on February 9 at Cisco.
