DALLAS, TX-- The Dallas Christian College women's basketball team competed against the Texas A&M Texarkana Lady Eagles on New Year's Eve. The Eagles defeated the Lady Crusaders by a score of 108-42 on Saturday afternoon.
As a team DCC shot 14-50 (28%) from the field, 4-17 (23%) from the three-point line, and 10-16 (62.5%) from the free-throw line. The Lady Crusaders scored 14 points in the paint, 7 points off turnovers, and 4 second chance points.Â
Mckayla Washington led the Lady Crusaders with 10 points and 1 assist on 4-6 shooting from the field. Yvonne Fuerte scored 8 points and had 1 assist. Amber Coving had a near double-double with 8 points and 10 rebounds. The Lady Crusaders will be on the road at Tyler Junior College on January 4.Â
