CHICKISHA, OK-- The Dallas Christian College men's basketball team lost 103-82 on the road against the University of Science and Arts on Saturday afternoon at the Drover Fieldhouse.
In the first half, DCC kept the game close and was very sharp offensively in the first half as they only trailed 48-42 after one half of play. In the second half, the Drovers outscored the Crusaders 55-40 on their way to a 103-82 victory.Â
Joseph Allen led DCC in scoring with 24 points, 8 rebounds, and 1 assist on 9-14 shooting from the field.
Jalen Perez tallied 10 points, 2 assists, and 3 rebounds in 20 minutes. Tilly Hobson scored 8 points and recorded 6 rebounds in 26 minutes of play.
Tyjuan Battles put together a solid performance with 16 points and 6 rebounds on 6-10 shooting from the field in 33 minutes of play.
DCC shot 30-60 (50%) from the field, 4-14 (28%) from the field, and 18-26 (69%) from the FT line. The Crusaders also had 8 second chance points, 44 points in the paint, and 32 bench points. DCC will be back on the road Tuesday, Nov. 7 at Southwestern Assemblies of God University.
