FORT WORTH, TX-- The Dallas Christian College men's basketball team suffered a 111-73 loss on the road against Texas Wesleyan University on Tuesday evening.
DCC hung tough in the first half and cut the deficit to 9 points in the first half. The Rams ended the half with a dominating performance to take a 57-38 lead with 20 minutes left to play in the game.
TXWES continued its dominance in the second half by outscoring the Crusaders 54-35 to secure a 111-73 victory against the Crusaders.Â
Jairus Allen led the way for the Crusaders with 17 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 assists on 6-8 shooting from the field and 4-5 from the 3 point line.
Jalen Perez scored 13 points on 4-11 shooting from the field and 4-4 from the FT line.
Joseph Allen scored 12 points on 4-6 from the field and 4-5 from the FT line. Tilly Hobson scored 11 points on 3-7 shooting from the field.Â
DCC shot 24-51 (47%) from the field, 8-17 (47%) from the 3 PT line, Â and 17-19 (89%) from the FT line.
