TYLER, TX-- The Dallas Christian College men's basketball team suffered a 96-72 loss on Monday evening against Texas College on the road.
The Steers used an explosive offensive attack in the first half to clinch a 56-42 lead heading into halftime. TC continued its offensive attack in the second half to secure a 96-72 victory the Crusaders.Â
Joseph Allen led the Crusaders with 18 points and 7 rebounds on 5-8 shooting from the field. TJ Hobson scored a season-high 17 points on 7-10 shooting from the field.
Tyjuan Battles scored 11 points and snagged 5 rebounds on 4-7 shooting from the field.
DCC shot 26-44 (59.1%) from the field, 5-12 (41.7%) from the 3 PT line, and 13-26 (50%) from the FT line. DCC will travel to Ada, Oklahoma on Saturday to take on East Central University.
