KERRVILLE, TX-- The Dallas Christian College women's volleyball team lost both matches of a tri-match on Saturday afternoon at Schreiner University. DCC lost the first match in a tough 5 sets and lost the second match in straight sets.

Game 1- Schreiner University defeated the Lady Crusaders in five sets: 25-22, 25-15, 25-19, 25-21, 15-11. DCC recorded 61 points, 46 kills, 10 Aces, 5 blocks, 42 assists, and 123 digs. 

Christen Downey recorded 14 kills, Alexis Garner recorded 8 kills, and Autumn Allmon recorded 7 kills. Rae Leano had 4 Aces, Taylor Gary had 3 Aces, and Hannah Gallegos had 2 Aces. Mary- Nichole Fenter had 2 blocks, Autumn Allmon had 2 blocks, and Makenna Rambo had 2 blocks. Hannah Gallegos had 20 assists, Taylor Gary had 11 assists, and Rae Leano had 5 assists. Rae Leano led the team with 38 digs, Hannah Gallegos had 19 digs, and Megan Ross had 15 digs. 

Game 2- Nebraska Wesleyan University defeated the Lady Crusaders in straight sets: 25-16, 25-11, and 25-12. DCC recorded 22 points, 19 kills, 3 Aces, 5 blocks, 16 assists, and 59 digs. 

Christen Downey led the team with 6 kills, Autumn Allmon had 3 kills, and Alexis Garner had 3 kills. Hannah Gallegos had 2 Aces, and Kelly Graves had 1 Ace. Hannah Gallegos had 8 assists, Taylor Gary had 3 assists, and Kelly Graves had 2 assists. Rae Leano had 17 digs, Hannah Gallegos had 12 digs, and Megan Ross had 11 digs.
