DALLAS – On Tuesday the Dallas Christian College women's soccer team embarked in a new era with Head Coach
Eric Smith leading the team versus Central Christian College. For Smith, who is in his second year at the helm after recruiting to construct a roster throughout 2020, there were 14 girls to make DCC debuts.

Alexis Velazquez,
Andrea Hernandez,
Stephanie Amrein,
Tatiyonna Murphy,
Nichole Erwin,
Elisabeth Rios,
Arabella Williams,
Aletza Torres, and Jaydn Renteria all saw time on the field Tuesday.
Victoria Galvan and
Ruth Cabezas are the remaining DCC players listed on the roster that will also seek making their debuts.
Smith provides over 30 years of head coaching experience, with the latest stop being at NCAA Division III American Southwest Conference's (ASC) UT-Dallas as the Defensive Coordinator. The Comets played to the ASC Semifinals in each of his six years with the program.
