DALLAS, Texas – The Dallas Christian College men's soccer team hosted Cedar Valley College on Friday, October 8 and would fall late that afternoon, 2-1. Each side had chances throughout the match, but things would be scoreless at halftime.
Kelvin Nsonye would score twice, including the game-winning goal, as he lifted the Suns (5-2) in front with 38:41 minutes left in the second half.

Ivan Najar scored his first career goal with less than 20 minutes in regulation to level the scoreboard at 1-1.
Nsonye put in the determining goal with about 10 minutes remaining and the Sun's defense picked up the one-goal win.
Luis Lopez had nine saves in 90 minutes, while his counterpart Carlos Vasquez secured seven. The Suns held a 21-15 edge in corner kicks.
Dallas Christian takes a week off before going to Mountain View College on October 19 at 2 p.m.
