Dallas Christian College volleyball increased its winning streak to three games after prevailing in straight set sweeps over Kansas Christian College and Southwestern Adventist University on Friday, October 25.
The Crusaders fought to a close 25-22 opening frame before depositing two 25-10 wins in the last two sets. Lauren Baker led the home team's offense with 13 kills and neared a double-double with nine digs for second in the box score. Christen Downey added seven kills, while Caitlyn Yablon was the team leader with 21 digs.
Dallas Christian took care of Southwestern Adventist University 25-14, 25-10, and 25-1 in the second outing of the day.
Cameron Del Angel totaled nine kills, while Christen Downey and Elizabeth Morrow contributed to a balanced attack with eight kills. Baker added six. A trio of Crusaders managed to reach double-digits in digs including: Yablon (18), Summer Doty (16), and Kelly Graves (3).
Dallas Christian moved to 4-2 overall.
