Box Score The Dallas Christian College men's soccer team closed out the regular season with a 3-1 setback at Randall University on Monday. The Crusaders fall to 6-3 overall on the season and have lost two straight.
The Saints put things away early with two goals in the first half by Harry Yorke (10:47) and Reece Farrow (25:42). Renan Lara added a third goal in the 55th minute.
DCC put its lone goal on the board with Kevin Zarrazagas connecting for his fifth of the season at the 72:48 mark. Diego Rodas, who was coming off a hat trick his last match, would lead the team with four shots and had one on goal. Zarrazagas tallied three shots and Samuel Olague had the other for the team's nine total. Alexy Tobias made five saves in 90 minutes.
The Crusaders had to use their endurance as there were only 11 players that saw the field.
Randall was led by Yorke with four shots and three on goal, while Charlie Cartwright had three attempts and two on target. The team totaled 13 shots and eight shots on frame.
Corner kicks were nearly identical with Randall holding a 5-4 edge, and three for each side in the final 45 minutes.
Dallas Christian College will host the NDAG DI Regional with Ecclesia College on Monday, November 9 at 3:30 p.m.
