Box Score Dallas Christian College men's soccer dropped a 4-0 road match to Texas Wesleyan University on Saturday at Gateway Park in Fort Worth. DCC suffered its first blemish of the season and ended a three-game winning streak. Diego Rodas led the Crusaders with six shots and four of the team's five shots on goal. Alexy Tobias made five saves in 90 minutes.
The Rams notched their first win of the campaign and did it on the strength of 22 shots and nine landing on frame. Mateja Jovanovic sent in two goals overall, including the lone one in the first half to lift Texas Wesleyan. An early goal in the second half by Julian Avila ignited a three-goal stanza. Bastian Blumenberg gave a clean sheet thanks to five saves.
Dallas Christian is scheduled to play at Randall University on October 6. The next home match is Oct. 9 with Kansas Christian.
