Box Score Dallas Christian College men's soccer picked up another big conference victory, defeating Southwestern Adventist University for the second straight week on the road in 5-1 fashion. The Crusaders have won three in a row and are now 6-1 on the campaign.
The Crusaders used a three-goal first half to gain control in this one. Senovio Cerdan lifted DCC in the ninth minute with an unassisted goal. Diego Rodas tallied the other goals in the first stanza, each on an assist from Emmanuel Abaka. Cerdan grabbed his second goal of the contest early in the second half, and Adrian Martinez completed the DCC scoring on a penalty kick.
The Knights avoided the shutout with a goal in the 70th minute, but would fall to 1-5 in the loss.
Dallas Christian stays on the road a week from now with a match at Dallas Baptist University. Kickoff is to be announced.
