Coach Smith joins Dallas Christian College with the plan to revive Women's Soccer at DCC for the Fall 2021 season. Bringing over 30 years of head coaching experience, Coach Smith has trained athletes, men and women, at all levels of competition, with the most recent stop being at the University of Texas at Dallas. At UTD, Smith served as the Defensive Coordinator with the team playing to the ASC Semifinals in each of his six years with the program.

Coach Smith explains his coaching philosophy:
I was never the most gifted athlete, but I always worked as harder than most to give me the best chance for success. My experience tells me this principle holds true for developing a successful team. I also believe in the concept "The WHOLE is greater than the SUM OF THE PARTS." By creating an environment where the individual player places the needs of the TEAM above all things, this brings a synergy that gives the team the best chance for success. We will work hard together...and we will succeed together.
