STERLING, KS-- The Dallas Christian College Women's Soccer team defeated Sterling College on the road by a score of 3-1 to improve to 4-4-1 on the season.
DCC struck first with a goal by
Chloe Anderson in the 33rd minute. The Lady Crusaders responded in the 39th minute with a go-ahead goal by
Vivian Hernandez to extend the lead to 2-1. With 45 seconds left in the first half,
Cameron Hutton scored the last goal of the game to give DCC a 3-1 lead.
Both teams played solid defense in the second half as neither team was able to put a ball in the back of the net. DCC had a total of 25 shots, including 15 shots on goal. DCC will look to continue its offensive dominance on Saturday at Cisco College.
